As noted in the notifications made by the Enterprise Directorates affiliated with Başkent Elektrik Dağıtım A.Ş. to the companies using unlicensed generators, the aforesaid companies are required to receive their licenses within 1 month, within the scope of the principles of the Electrical Energy Emergency Groups and Auto-producer Facilities Licensing Regulation of the Turkish Ministry of Energy dated 02.09.1988 and numbered 19917. While the generators of companies not fulfilling the obligation to receive a license on time may be sealed, the termination of the electricity subscriptions may also be at stake.

Accordingly, it is necessary to prepare a generator project for the unlicensed generators in order to be approved by the Ministry of Energy of Turkey.
